Agri Mountain

Above pasted photograph was taken 50 kms behind Agri Mountain.

Agri Mountain is the highest summit of Turkey. Agri means in Kurdish " fire ". Because, Agri Mountain is a volcano. Part of %35 of Agri Mountain is belonged to Igdir. And part of %65 of Agri Mountain is belonged to Dogubayazit.

Summit which is in rigth hand is Little Agri Mountain. And Summit which is in left hand is Big Agri mountain.Height of Little Agri is 3.898 mts. Heigth of Big Agri Mountain is 5.137 mts.

According to old testament, Noah' s ship came to rest in Agri Mountain. If you want to climb to Agri Mountain, you should take permission from formal authorities in Ankara.

Ishak Pasha Palace Dogubayazit

Ishak Pasa is the Ottaman grand vizier.He maked this Palace from 1685 until 1784. (99 year) was completed by his grandson Ishak (Isaac) Pasha.

The Kurdish author Ehmede Xani's shrine is the corner of Ishak Pasa Palace.

Ishak Pasa Palace is really very good place. If you want to look around it's very good idea. Because; you have to visit araound of Ishak Pasa Palace.
